Ducktour

Mummy wanteda bring me for a boat ride but...

we went to the DuckTour instead

with my Ah-Yi and family.

It's Belyn jiejie's (that's what I call her) birthday.

The "Duck" going into the water.

The Singapore Flyer viewed from the waters. It currently the largest in the world until 2009.
I can identify and say "Ferris Wheel" now.

Not long after the "Duck" went into the water, I fell asleep. I was just too tired. It was about 4pm and I was awake since 7+ in the morning.

I missed all these: the floating stadium,

and Mummy won a duck's beak (gives out quack quack sound when blown) for me for guessing the nearest to correct number of "spikes" on the Esplanade.

Thank God for the wonderful weather that day and for my Ah Tyour and Ah Yi for the ride.

After the ride, Mummy brought me to the World Book Fair (last day today. sorry for late update).
We bought a number of Chinese books. They are very cheap.

and an interactive CD-ROM as Janelle jiejie's birthday present.

O... one really "interesting" discovery Mummy made at the Fair.
Click on the last picture and see what's on the white screen in the background.
There was this Uncle selling videos of him (we assumed it's him) pointing (with a pointer) to and explaining solutions to Math problems.
Got people buy meh???

so so lah. can't really see the sea. more of sight seeing.

think the Singapore River Cruise or the new Duck/Hippo cruise might be better.

I meant the Duck's so sheltered, so high, you are like not so near to the water. if you're not sitting at the sides worse.

dunno howta explain.

oh i see, I was sitting at the sides, and because I travelled with citytours (board at singapore flyer and not suntec), lesser people, and more freedom thats why the captains of the boat even let the children take over their roles.

oo.. citytours may be a better choice then.

ours was packed! all seats taken and not taking over captains' role. boring...
