Just for the record, meimei's eyelashes were quite short at birth unlike Hann's but is slowly catching up and is quite long now.
Thank God for beautiful babies!

Mummy tried to teach me how to play on the keyboard with both hands simultaneously but I somehow just couldn't get it.
She was clueless about how to get me to play with both hands.

Her friends gave suggestions - play on each hand separately 1st (which I did well), then combine; listen to the CD and play left hand only 1st.

I did none of those.
cos playing on each hand separately then combine didn't work for my mummy so she didn't think it'll work for me.

so she just left me alone and thought she'll let my teacher at Yamaha do the job.
but Teacher still didn't really teach how to play on both hands during this week's class.

after 3 days of practice, I can finally play one whole song with both hands simultaneously.

Reason? I had a little motivation.

my parents bought it and my papa told me that if I can play on the keyboard with both hands, I can open the box.

lo and behold.
I hit the keyboard the very day we got home from buying Blue Pal,
and I immediately can play both hands simultaneously!
Mummy was amazed!
and wonder was it that I didn't want to play at first.
I didn't get to open the box that day though
cos I'm not playing well enough yet.
after practising for 3 days, I can play the whole song with both hands simultaneously so I got to open the box.
Yeah!
I love my toy dino.

Was telling my parents about something that happened in school...

Hann: XX very naughty. I took the toy first but he snatched away.

Mummy: So what did you do? Did you tell him, 'no'?

Hann: No. YY told him, "No! Give it back."

Mummy: YY stood up for you?

Hann: no, she was sitting down.



Mummy: YY is a girl?

Hann: yah.

Mummy: Har! Girl protect you ah?

Hann: yes. good right?

Mummy: ...

Can you see the from the photos that my friend, Cherrlyn, is much more "pro" than me?
She can do almost everything independently while I need my assistant's help in most tasks.
This is her 5th or 6th time at Bakerzin's Baking Workshop.

And what's meimei doing while we're busy?

sleeping.
Actually, she fussed and drank milk before that.
Mummy sometimes feel bad that she has to drag miemei to everywhere I go.

The workshop's really hands on and there's not much free time except the time when we're waiting for the cake the bake.
While waiting, besides icing the marshmallows, we take lotsa photos too.


Cherrlyn can't wait to taste her cakes.

Love the baking class and I've been asking mummy how come we're not going anymore.

Ah. All the classes in December are fully booked!
So maybe we can go next year, Mummy?

new coach at Gym

we've got an additional coach (lady on the left) at gym today.
Mummy was worried that she's here to observe and take over Coach Yan eventually!
but Auntie Shirley told her that when there's a big class (7 of us), there's usually another coach to assist.

we "progress" from low beam, raised beam and finally the real thing!

I'm quite scared when on the balance beam.

but don't you think I'm more confident with Coach Yan?
That's why we love him.
He's really good with children.

that evening, I told my papa that there's a new coach today and that she doesn't know anything.
My parents were appalled that I said that.
My papa said even young kids like me know how to bully new teachers. haha.


oo... many have been asking where's the gym I go to.

It's Prime Gymnastics Club

at Lor 7 Toa Payoh.

Bus 232 stops right at its doorstep.
It's the only bus at this bus stop.

It's a building on its own right next to Pei Chun Public School.

Funny how Mummy doesn't know this place when she's been staying in the neighbourhood for almost all her life.

My favourite household chore is folding clothes.
I fold mine and meimei's.
I started folding clothes since I was three or even younger.

once in a while, I also like to vacuum the floor.

My other tasks include bringing dirty clothes to laundry basket, unpacking my schoolbag and bringing the bowls, cups, bottles to the basin after I'm done with the food.

My parents are very proud of me!
though sometimes I need some reminders to complete my tasks

Graduation Tour 毕业之旅

This is super overdue.
Earlier this month, my parents brought me for my 毕业之旅 - when I "graduated" from Eager Beaver and just before I start at the new school.

this is a picture taken by my papa at the beach outside the chalet we went.

Yah, my Graduation Tour is at Aloha Loyang.
We had a pool terrace unit and woh!
the pool is really just outside the door!
and it's super big with 4 bedrooms, each with an attached toilet.

Me all ready for the pool!

It's my meimei's 1st time swimming.
She's so blessed, barely 4 months and gone swimming liao.
My 1st time at the pool was when I was 7 months old.

It looked so fun that once I reached the pool, I asked Mummy if I can slide down from it.
Mummy said yes but immediately regretted wondering if I'll be scared when I'm thrown into the water.

True enough, I was so scared I wanteda get out of the pool.

We went to the pool for all 3 days of our stay at the chalet.
I was so frightened by the slide experience, I didn't want to go anywhere my feet can't touch the ground.

So I just played at the edge of the pool,

and ride my dolphin around.

Nevertheless, I love water play at the swimming pool and my baby sister enjoyed swimming too.
Makes Mummy think they should have got a condo with a swimming pool at some ulu place instead of getting a $650k HDB flat in an expensive neighbourhood.

Something we must thank God for:

My papa had planned to let me barbecue with him and bought a disposable barbecue pit.
As he's worried that it will be too hot for the table, Papa put a corelle plate under the pit.
After Papa started the fire in the barbecue pit, he went away to get something and smash!
the corelle plate "exploded" and shatters flew all over the place.
Woh... Thank God none of us was near the plate or else we'll be cut.
Papa said especially me cos the plate was at my eye-level.
Thank God for his protection.

It's good exercise for me.

Coach encouraging me on.

started going to gymnastic classes for 2 weeks liao.

Mummy thought I won't like it too much cos I'm not a very active boy plus gym class is full of "scary stunts".
but though I'm a little afraid, I try my best to do all the things Coach taught me to do.

I love gym class
and even requested to go more than 1 hour a week.
unfortunately, Papa said no. =(
