Was discharged on Tuesday 30 June
but not much improvement since.
I'm still "bed-ridden"
Stomach pain all the time and so bloated my belly-button popped out.
Friday 3 July 3009
Seeing that I'm not getting better but seemingly worse (my tummy was no bloated all the time when I was in the hospital plus I developed a huge, ugly and scary rash my face), Mummy decided to bring me for 2nd opinion.
Auntie Peixin had introduced her children's pediatrician (PD) to us but due to me being so weak and our car sent to the workshop (what good timing right?), Papa decided to just bring me to the PD at our house downstairs.
She was the one I 1st saw regarding this problem hence Mummy thought it's good also since she knows the history and all.
Doc was worried that I'm suffering from
Paralytic ileus (loosely put: praralysed intestine)
so she ordered for me to do an ultra-sound scan the next day at Mt Alvernia.
Sat 4 July 2009
Doc messaged Mummy early morning and told her that she suspect I'm suffering from Pseudomembranous colitis (simply put: toxin caused by bacteria overgrowth due to antibiotics)
So I was to do an XRay instead.
me in the XRay room at Mt A with papa.
我到底得了什莫怪病??
Afternoon...
after my nap, I went to pass urine then while drying me, papa found red spots on my feet and sole. There're even bruise-like rash on my soles and they are slightly swollen.
A call to doc "confirmed" that I'm suffering from
Henoch–Schönlein purpura (HSP)
simply put: blood vessel inflammation。
symptoms of this kinda 怪病 include skin rash, pain in the abdomen, and joint inflammation (arthritis).
"Patients with HSP can develop fever. Inflammation of the blood vessels in the kidneys can cause blood and/or protein in the urine. Serious kidney complications are infrequent but can occur." ~ medicinenet.com
wiki says, "1% of all HSP patients develop chronic kidney disease."
papa thinks it's quite scary.
My brothers + sisters in Christ, please pray that i'll recover quickly.
the situation is such that it's difficult for either one of my parents to get leave from work.
but not much improvement since.

oh dear, poor hann. Father God in heaven, you hear the cries of your children and we pray that you will heal hann with your mighty hand. Take away the pain and sickness so he may be well again. Take care of his parents' health so that they can continue to care for him. Pray also for understanding bosses and colleagues for his parents so as to lessen their stress and burden on top of caring for hann. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
