Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall is now re-opened after a major revamp.
12 Tai Gin Road, Singapore

Free admission from now til 30 Oct 2011
for Singapore citizens and PRs only
10am to 5pm daily

Mummy always thought Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall, better known as 晚晴园 (wan qing yuan), was just a place Dr Sun Yat Sen 孙逸仙 aka 孫中山 had stayed before in Singapore.
but little does she know what it actually served as a base for revolutionary activities to overthrow the Qing (Manchu) dynasty.

and no, Sun Yat Sen was not a communist, he was a Christian.
