Royston Tan's Old Places - location #8 Dragon Playground

8. Dragon Playground
Blk 28 Lor 6 Toa Payoh s310028

Dragon Playground, originally uploaded by j u s t i n . z.

You can see this dragon playground when you come in to Toa Payoh via the Lor 6 exit on PIE.
Check out the old stone table with the embedded checker box in the foreground of this picture.

Toa Payoh is the land of Dragon 龙.
besides this Dragon Playground, there's actually another dragon playground in Toa Payoh.

This one is sandless though.
You can see it along the main road of Lor 1 Toa Payoh, between Blk 201 and Blk 240.

Yet another Dragon in Toa Payoh:

Another kinda dragon 龙:

恐龙 dinosaur
believed to be one of its kind in Singapore
Kim Keat Ville somewhere off Toa Payoh Lorong 6.

You know what?
though all these playgrounds are at a neighbourhood super near me, I've never been to any one of them. sigh.
now, papa, when are we going to visit them?

Hi yanwei,

my mummy had the list scribbled on pieces of paper and will take some time to type them so I think you'll have to wait patiently for the list to appear here.
