Close of a Chapter - Eager Beaver Schoolhouse

Still can't believe that today is Hann's last at Eager Beaver Schoolhouse - the school / childcare centre he's been with since 6 months old.

We were even going to send meimei there but alas...
Eager Beaver was chased out by their landlord, SAFRA,
and MCYS does not approve them to have infant care at their new premises (or so they claimed).

Since Meimei's not going to be at Eager Beaver, Hann's Papa thought it's a good chance for us to "re-align" our lives.
Eager Beaver is actually quite far from where we're staying so everyday, Hann reaches home at about 7:30 pm. By the time we settle down from dinner, it's already 8pm.
Hence, we want to put Hann and meimei at a school nearer to home.

We were really very thankful when we first found Eager Beaver.
We had actually put Hann in other infant care and it was terrible there so we had to look for another place. That was when we found Eager Beaver Schoolhouse, which is near my work place.

The infant care teachers at Eager Beaver, Beth, Deborah and Catherine, really took good care of Hann and taught him well.
In fact, I'd say Hann is so clever and independent due to them more than my hubby and I, since he spend more waking moments in school than at home.

Over at the other infant care, they don't even let the babies feed themselves at 18-month-old (this is one of the reason why I don't want to put meimei there).
While Hann is already doing such a good job feeding himself at 17 months (see video).

We are also thankful that potty-training, led by Teacher Hui Leng (2nd from top left), was painless and easy.

Perhaps it's also because Hann was there since he was a baby, he is very much loved at Eager Beaver.

while mummy is sad and worried (fear of the unknown; fear that Hann won't be loved at the new school),
Hann is all excited and eager to start at the new school.

so, once again, to all at Eager Beaver: thank you for loving Hann for the past 4 years.

and indeed,

"Many are the plans in a man's heart,
but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails."
Proverbs 19:21 (New International Version)
