Why is Jesus so toa-pai (big shot)?
1. Christmas is Jesus' birthday celebration
'Christmas is an annual holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus. ...
The word Christmas originated as a contraction of "Christ's mass". '
~ taken from Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia
Jesus who is so toa-bai (big shot) that people all around the world celebrate his birthday and somemore so many countries make Christmas a public holiday.
I wish my birthday is a public holiday so I can spent time with Papa and Mummy.
2. Somemore somemore, everywhere pa-gae the years with reference to the birth of Jesus. AD and BC. in case you don't know... now is AD 2007.
BC is Before Christ
while AD is Anno Domini which means "In the year of (Our) Lord" in Latin. Not "after death" hor.
3. the REAL reason why Jesus is toa pai is because Jesus is sent by God - the ultimate big shot.
An angel of the Lord told Joseph, "She (Mary) will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."
All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"—which means, "God with us."
