I must be really blind or maybe it's my dyslexia at work:
I read the word aBusement as aMusement.
or maybe the icon's too innocent.
that's why I thought I must blog about this and warn all parents!

as part of the Museum's Night Festival 2010:

ABUSEMENT PARK
by Vertical Submarine (Singapore) & Black Baroque Interventionists (Singapore)
Venue: SAM at 8Q Courtyard and Basement (didn't know 8Q's got a basement)
SAM Queen Courtyard and Basement (Entry via green gate at Queen Street)
Date: FRI 16 JUL 2010 - SAT 17 JULY 2010 7:00pm - 2:00am
Time: 8pm – 2am

"Parts of the building, including the basement of SAM, will be converted into an Abusement Park. This ‘occupation’ is driven by a collective nostalgia that extends to carnivalesque and grotesque phenomena in history such as the spectacle of public execution, and ‘madwomen’ at the funfair of the post war years. ..., this two-night event, will feature instruments of pain as entertainment, and tortured souls as amusement. ..."

Phew...it's not at 8Q so children can go play at the

Art Garden - Children's Season @ 8Q SAM

but be warned: it'll be super crowded.
