2. Just Getting Started from Made With Love (MWL).

You get to use on your one scrapbook page:
Tape glue (a new one for you to bring home)
2 patterned papers
1 card stock
1 alphabet stickers set
scrap card stock of various colours for your photo mats and other small things you want to do.
brads, eyelets, ribbons, buttons that you want to use on your scrapbook page.

What you get to use at Laine's but not at MWL:
alphabet stickers
Shape Punches (flowers, leaves, circles, squares, etc),
tape eraser,
circle cutter,
foam/dot glue (for popping your photo/fonts out).

What they teach you at Laine's but not at MWL:

Strengths:
Explaination on each feature followed by hands-on.
Students design the layout for their page.
Teachers draws a number of layouts on the board for students to refer to.
Teacher encourages and allows students' own creativity and planning on what they want for their scrapbook page.

Mummy wish they'd:
stress the importance of journelling.
highlight what big differences photo mats can do.

Teacher designs the layout for your page.

Strengths:
Explain the importance of journelling and insist that every student journal on their page
highlight what big differences photo mats can do.
Teacher picks the cardstocks for students after students choose the patterned paper.

Mummy wish they'd:
give short explaination on each feature followed by hands-on instead of lecture 1st then hands-on.
be more creative with fonts.
Provide students with and encourage students to use emblishments.

This is Mummy's final product from Laine's:

She did a bit of touch-up after her class at MWL: and gave it to my papa as their wedding anniversary present.

This is Mummy's final product from MWL:
It's actually two pages.

It was supposed to be only one page but she was ambitious and had a lot of "free" time (waiting time rather) at MWL's class so thought she might as well make the matching page.
